[Buzz] 

What chance does a toy like me have against a Buzz Lightyear action figure? 

[Woody]

Buzz, you've got wings! You glow in the dark! You talk! Your helmet does that, that... *whoosh* thing! You are a cool toy! As a matter of fact, you're "too" cool. 

[Woody]

[Buzz]: I am Buzz Lightyear; I come in peace.

[Rex, shaking Buzz's hand]: Oh, I'm so glad you're not a dinosaur!

[Woody]: All right, that's enough! Look, we're all very impressed with Andy's new toy. 

[Buzz]: Toy?

[Woody]: T-O-Y, Toy! 

[Buzz]: Excuse me, I think the word you're searching for is "Space Ranger". 

[Woody]: The word I'm searching for I can't say because there's preschool toys present.

[Buzz]: I've set my laser from stun to kill.

[Woody]: Oh, great. If anyone attacks we can blink em' to death. 

[Mr. Potato Head]: Hey, a laser! How come "you" don't have a laser, Woody?

[Woody]: It's not a laser! It's a... It's a little light bulb that blinks.

[Hamm]: What's with him? 

[Mr. Potato Head]: Laser envy.

[Woody]: Hey, Buzz! You're flying! 

[Buzz]: This isn't flying, this is falling with style! 

[Mr. Potato Head]: How did I get stuck with "you" as a moving buddy?

[Rex]: Everyone else was picked.

I knew you were right all along, Woody. Never doubted you for a second.

Two Different Worlds 

One True Love

[John Smith, holds out hand]: It's just a handshake. Here let me show you.

[Pocahontas]: Nothing's happening. 

[John Smith]: Uh, no, no. I need your hand first.

[they shake hands]

[John Smith]: It's how we say "hello".

[John Smith]: Pocahontas, that tree is talking to me. 

[Pocahontas]: Then you should talk back.

[Grandmother Willow]: Don't be frightened, young man. My bark is worse than my bite. 

[Pocahontas]: Say something. 

[John Smith]: What do you say to a tree? 

[Pocahontas]: Anything you want.

[Grandmother Willow]: Come closer, John Smith. 

[she inspects him] He has a good soul. And he's handsome, too. 

[John Smith]: Oh, I like her. 

[Pocahontas]: I knew you would.

[Pocahontas]: We don't have to fight them! There must be a better way.

[Powhatan]: Sometimes our paths are chosen for us.

[Pocahontas]: But maybe we should try talking to them. 

[Powhatan]: They do not want to talk.

[Pocahontas]: But if one of them did want to talk, you would listen to him, wouldn't you?

[Powhatan]: Pocahontas... 

[Pocahontas]: Wouldn't you?

[Powhatan]: Of course I would. But it is not that simple. Nothing is simple anymore. 

[John Smith]: Pocahontas...

[Pocahontas, hugs him]: I'm so sorry.

[John Smith]: For what? This? 

I've gotten out of worse scrapes than this. Can't think of anything right now, but... 

[Pocahontas, tearfully]: It would've been better if we never met. 

None of this would've happened. 

[John Smith]: Pocahontas, look at me. 

I'd rather die tomorrow than live a hundred years without knowing you. 

[Pocahontas, as she throws herself over John Smith, who is about to be executed]: No!

[silence]

[Pocahontas]: If you kill him, you'll have to kill me, too. 

[Powhatan]: Daughter, stand back.

[Pocahontas]: I won't! I love him, Father.

[silence]

[Pocahontas]: Look around you. This is where the path of hatred has brought us. 

[brief silence]

[Pocahontas]: This is the path I choose, Father. What will yours be? 

[John Smith]: Come with me? 

[Powhatan]: You must choose your own path. 

[Pocahontas]: I'm needed here.

My daughter speaks with the wisdom beyond her years. 

We've all come here with anger in our hearts, but she comes with courage and understanding. 

From this day forward, if there is to be more killing, it will not start with me. 

[Powhatan]

Roll The Dice And Unleash The Excitement!

[Alan Parrish]: What year is it? 

[Carl]: It was brand new. 

[Alan Parrish]: No, what year is it? 

[Judy Shepherd]: Uh, 1995, remember? 

[Alan Parrish]: '95???

[Carl]: You got some ID? 

Oh, let me guess, you probably left it in your other Tarzan outfit, right? 

[Alan Parrish, to himself]: 26 years!

[Carl]: Are you from around here?

[Alan Parrish]: I was. But I've been in Jumanji. 

[Judy Shepherd]: Indonesia. He was in the Peace Corps.

There is a lesson you will learn: sometimes you must go back a turn. 

[Judy Shepherd]

At night they fly, you better run. These winged things are not much fun.

[Young Sarah]

Beware of the ground for which you stand, the floor is quicker than the sand. 

[Alan Parrish]

A hunter from the darkest wild... makes you feel just like a child.

Don't be fooled it isn't thunder, staying put would be a blunder.

[after Alan and Sarah finish the game]

[Alan Parrish, hug Samuel]: I'm so glad you're back. 

[Samuel Alan Parrish]: I've only been gone 5 minutes. 

[Alan Parrish, crying]: It seems like a lot longer for me. 

[Samuel Alan Parrish]: I thought you told me you were never going to talk to me again. 

[Alan Parrish]: Whatever I said, Dad, I'm sorry. 

[Samuel Alan Parrish]: Oh, Alan, I was angry, OK? And I'm sorry, too. 

Look, you don't have to go to Cliffside if you don't want to. 

Let's talk it over tomorrow. Man to man.

[Alan Parrish]: How about father to son?

CASPER [1995]

Get An Afterlife

All I want's a friend.

[Casper] 

[Kat]: I can see right through you. 

[Casper]: Yeah, kind of happens when you haven't got any skin.

[Casper]: I begged and begged my dad to give me this sled, but he acted like I couldn't even have it, because I didn't know how to ride it. 

But then one morning, I came down for breakfast and there it was, just for me, for no reason at all. 

I took it out, went sledding all day. 

And my dad said "that's enough" but I couldn't stop, I was having so much fun. 

It got late, got dark, got cold... and I got sick, and my dad got sad. 

[Kat]: What's it like to die?

[Casper]: Like... being born, only backwards. 

I remember, I didn't go where I was supposed to go. I just stayed behind, so my dad wouldn't be lonely. 

[Kat]: Sometimes I worry that I'm starting to forget. 

[Casper]: Forget what? 

[Kat]: My mom. 

Just certain things. The sound of her making breakfast downstairs. 

The way she'd put on her lipstick, so carefully. 

I do remember, she always used Ivory soap, and when she'd hug me, I'd breathe her in, so deep. 

And I remember before I'd go to sleep she'd whisper in my ear, "stardust in the eyes, rosy cheeks, and a happy girl in the morning." 

Casper? 

[Casper]: Hmm?

[Kat]: If my mom's a ghost, did she forget about me?

[Casper]: No. She'd never forget you. Kat?

[Kat, about to sleep]: Mm-hmm? 

[Casper]: If I were alive, would you go to the Halloween dance with me? 

[Kat]: Mm-hmm. 

[Casper]: Kat? 

[Kat]: Mm-hmm.

[Casper, whisper]: Can I keep you?

[Kat]: Mm-hmm.

[Casper kisses Kat on the cheek]

[Kat]: Casper, close the window. It's cold. 

[Amelia Harvey]: That was a very noble thing you did tonight, Casper. 

I know Kat will never forget it. 

She needs her father. 

And I know yours won't forget it either. 

You fulfilled his greatest dream, Casper, and I know he is very, very proud of you. 

And for what you've done, I'm giving you your dream in return. 

But it's just for tonight. Sort of a Cinderella deal. 

[Casper]: So I have until midnight? 

[Amelia Harvey]: Ten. 

[Casper]: Hey, Cinderella got until midnight.

[Amelia Harvey]: Cinderella wasn't twelve years old. 

James, I know you have been searching for me, but there's something you must understand. 

You and Kat loved me so well when I was alive that I have no unfinished business, please don't let me be yours.

Let He Who Is Without Sin Try To Survive

 

[David Mills]: Do you like what you do for a living? These things you see? 

[Man in Massage Parlour Booth]: No, I don't. But that's life.

[David Mills]: Wait, I thought all you did was kill innocent people. 

[John Doe]: Innocent? Is that supposed to be funny? 

An obese man... a disgusting man who could barely stand up; a man who if you saw him on the street, you'd point him out to your friends so that they could join you in mocking him; a man, who if you saw him while you were eating, you wouldn't be able to finish your meal. 

After him, I picked the lawyer and I know you both must have been secretly thanking me for that one. 

This is a man who dedicated his life to making money by lying with every breath that he could muster to keeping murderers and rapists on the streets! 

[David Mills]: Murderers?

[John Doe]: A woman.

[David Mills]: Murderers, John, like yourself? 

[John Doe]: A woman... so ugly on the inside she couldn't bear to go on living if she couldn't be beautiful on the outside. 

A drug dealer, a drug dealing pederast, actually! 

And let's not forget the disease-spreading whore! 

Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face. But that's the point. 

We see a deadly sin on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. 

We tolerate it because it's common, it's trivial. 

We tolerate it morning, noon, and night.Well, not anymore. 

I'm setting the example. 

What I've done is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed... forever.

[John Doe]: Don't ask me to pity those people. 

I don't mourn them any more than I do the thousands that died at Sodom and Gomorrah.

[William Sommerset]: Is that to say, John, that what you were doing was God's good work? 

[John Doe]: The Lord works in mysterious ways.

[William Sommerset]: I just don't think I can continue to live in a place that embraces and nurtures apathy as if it was virtue. 

[David Mills]: You're no different. You're no better.

[William Sommerset]: I didn't say I was different or better. I'm not. 

Hell, I sympathize; I sympathize completely. 

Apathy is the solution. 

I mean, it's easier to lose yourself in drugs than it is to cope with life. 

It's easier to steal what you want than it is to earn it. 

It's easier to beat a child than it is to raise it. 

Hell, love costs: it takes effort and work.

People don't want a hero, they want to eat cheeseburgers, play the lotto and watch television.

I won't deny my own personal desire to turn each sin against the sinner.
