Prof. X: Jean Grey is the only class 5 mutant I've ever encountered, her potential limitless.

Her mutation is seated in the unconscious part of her mind and therein lay the danger.

When she was a girl, I created a series of psychic barriers

to isolate her powers from her conscious mind.

And the result is Jean developed a dual personality.

Logan: What?

Prof. X: The conscious Jean, whose powers were always in her control, and the dominant side.

A personality that, in our sessions, came to call itself The Phoenix.

A purely instinctual creature, all desire and joy and rage.

Logan: She knew all this?

Prof. X: It's unclear how much she knew.

Far more critical is whether the woman in front of us is the Jean Grey we know

or The Phoenix furiously struggling to be free.

Logan: She looks peaceful to me.

Prof. X: Because I'm keeping her that way.

I'm trying to restore the psychic blocks and cage the beast again.

Logan: What have you done to her?

Prof. X: You have to understand...

Logan: You're talking about a person's mind.

Prof. X: She has to be controlled.

Logan: Controlled?

Sometimes, when you cage the beast, the beast gets angry.

Prof. X: You have no idea of what she is capable of.

Logan: No, Professor, I had no idea what you were capable of.

We live in an age of darkness.

A world full of fear, hate and intolerance.

But in every age, there are those who fight against it.

Charles Xavier was born to a world divided.

A world he tried to heal.

A mission he never saw accomplished.

It seems the destiny of great man to see their goals unfulfilled.

Charles was more than a leader, more than a teacher.

Logan: If Magneto gets that cure, we can't stop him.
Beast: Can you estimate how many he has?
Logan: An army. And Jean.
His powers have limits, hers do not.
Bobby: There's only 6 of us, Logan.
Logan: Yeah, we're outnumbered. I'm not gonna lie to you.
But we lost Scott.
We lost the professor.
If we don't fight now, everything they stood for will die with them.
I'm not gonna let that happen.

For the last 2 years, 

an advanced team of new Autobots has taken refuge here under my commands.

Together, we form an alliance with the humans: 

a secret but brave squat of soldiers, a classified strike team called NEST.

We hunt for what remains of our Decepticon foes,

hiding in different countires around the world.

Galloway: Under the classified Alien/Autobot Cooperation Act,

you agreed to share your intel with us, but not your advancements in weaponry.

Optimus Prime: We've witnessed your human capacity for war.

It would absolutely bring more harm than good.

Galloway: But who are you to judge what's best for us?

Lennox: With all due respect, we've been fighting side by side in the field for 2 years.

Epps: We've shed blood, sweat, and precious metal together.

Galloway, to Epps: Soldier, you're paid to shoot, not talk.

Epps, mumbling: Don't tempt me!

Galloway: And the newest members of your team...

I understand they arrived here after you sent a message into space,

an open invitation to come to earth,

vetted by no one at The White House.

General Morshower: Let me stop you right there, Mr. Galloway.

It was vetted right here.

And in my experience, the judgement of both Major Lennox and his team

has always been above reproach.

Galloway: Well, be that as it may, General,

it is the position of the President that when our national security is at stake,

no one is above reproach.

Galloway: So let me ask, 

if we ultimately conclude that our national security is best served

by denying your further asylum on our planet,

will you leave peacefully?

Optimus Prime: Freedom is your right.

If you make that request, we will honor it.

But before your President decides, please ask him this.

What if we leave, and you're wrong?

Optimus Prime: I'm here for your help, Sam,

because your leaders believe we brought vengeance upon your planet.

Perhaps they are right.

That is why they must be reminded by another human of the trust we share.

Sam: This isn't my war.

Optimus Prime: Not yet, but I fear it soon will be.

Sam: I'm sorry, I really am.

Optimus Prime: Sam, fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing.

Sam: You're Optimus Prime, you don't need me.

Optimus Prime: We do, more than you know.

Fallen: For millenia, I have dreamed of my return to that wretched planet

where I, too, was once betrayed by The Primes I called my brothers.

Only a Prime can defeat me, and now, only one remains.

Megatron: Optimus! He protects the boy.

Fallen: Then the boy will lead us to him and revenge will be ours.

[whispering argue at the library]

Mikaela: I can tell that you really missed me a lot, Sam!

Sam: Look, it's not my fault, okay?

Mikaela: It's not your fault?

Sam: Listen, I'm a victim!

Mikaela: You're a victim? Of what? A little 80-pound girl?

Sam: Of molestation.

It was like getting humped in the neck by a mountain ox!

Mikaela: You didn't have to put your tongue in her mouth!

Sam: I didn't!

Mikaela: You did!

Sam: Look, you ever had your stomach tongued by a mountain ox with a 5-foot tongue?

It's not fun for me, okay, Mikaela.

And it smelled like... like diesel! Like a diesel-y tinge to it!

I spent my whole adult life combing the planet for aliens,

and you're carrying around one in your purse like a little chihuahua.

Sam: What do you mean 'changed sides'?

So much negativity.

Somewhere buried in this desert, our ancestors built a great machine.

It harvest Energon by destroying suns.

In the beginning, there were 7 Primes, our original leaders.

And they set out into the universe, seeking distant suns to harvest.

The Primes set out with one rule, never destroy a planet with life,

until one of them try to defy this rule.

And his name forevermore was The Fallen.

He despised the human race and he wanted to kill you all by turning on that machine.

The only way to activate it is with a legendary key called The Matrix of Leadership.

A great battle took place over possession of The Matrix.

The Fallen was stronger than his brothers, 

so they had no choice but to steal and hide it from him.

In the ultimate sacrifice, they gave their lives to seal The Matrix away,

in a tomb made of their very own bodies, a tomb we cannot find.

Somewhere, buried in this desert, that deadly machine remains.

The Fallen knows where it is and if he finds the tomb of The Primes,

your world will be no more.

Stryker: You boys tired of running? Tired of denying your true nature?

Victor: What do you care?

Zero: Lumberjack? 18 grand a year?

Plus, I haven't had to kill anyone in a while.

Zero: Starting to miss it?

Logan: Stryker came by today.

Kayla: Why is he bothering you after all these years?

Logan: Because I'm the best there is at what I do,

but what I do best isn't very nice.

Kayla: You're not an animal, Logan.

His name was Kuekuatsheu and they lived in The Spirit World together.

Logan: Oh, this is a true story? All right...

Kayla: And every night they would wander the skies together.

But one of the other spirit was jealous.

Trickster wanted the moon for himself, so he told Kuekuatsheu that the moon has asked for flowers.

He told him to come to our world and pick her some wild roses.

But Kuekuatsheu didn't know that once you leave The Spirit World, you can never go back.

And every night he looks up in the sky and sees the moon and howls her name.

But, he can never touch her again.

Logan: Wow... koo-koo-ka-choo got screwed.

Kayla: Kuekuatsheu. [Logan laughing] It means The Wolverine.

Victor: When are you gonna figure it out? We're not like them.

Logan: I am nothing like you.

Victor: Sure you are. You just don't know it yet.

Stryker: You can't beat him, Logan, you know you can't!

Logan: I'm gonna find him and kill him!

Stryker: I can give you the tools to defeat him.

And we can still save the others.

Logan: You mean save yourself, right?

Stryker: I promise you 2 things.

You will suffer more pain than any other man can endure, but you'll have your revenge.

Logan: I come with you, I'm coming for blood.

No law, no code of conduct.

You point me in the right direction, you get the hell out of my way.

Stryker: You remember what we were looking for in Africa?

Logan: I remember.

Stryker: Well, I found it.

It helped us create a metal compound so strong that you will be able to withstand virtually anything.

It's called Adamantium

I can't put Victor down myself, Logan.

To kill him, you're gonna have to embrace the other side.

Stryker: I almost forgot. [showing him his old dogtags]

Logan: I want new ones.

Stryker: What do you want them to say?

Logan: Wolverine.

Fred Duke: It's where Stryker takes them after Victor's caught them.

Logan: Wait, hang on a minute. Takes who?

Fred Duke: Mutants.

Rumor is that Stryker's doing experiments on them there.

I mean, you never wondered what happened to them?

John Wraith: I tried not to.

They killed her so I'd let them put Adamantium in me.

They killed her for a goddamn experiment!

John Wraith: What's Stryker up to, Fred? What's the endgame?

Fred Dukes: He's taking their powers, trying to combine them somehow.

Stryker: Don't be angry with her. She's a real credit to our species.

Did you know that her sister has diamond-hard skin?

Kayla's mutation is tactohypnosis.

She can influence people as long as she touches them.

Quite a useful tools in a seduction.

It was never real, my friend.

Logan: It was real for me.

I told you, if you came down this road, you wouldn't like what you found.

I had it backwards.
